Not on sewing

Well, not that anyone actually sees this, at least I'm hoping to feel better once I write this.... Today, after many months... we received a letter of notice to foreclose- ugh~ After we requested a reduced payment, and making all payments on time- then filing for an official modification they are taking it all away... what to do now?? who knows... Welcoming ideas ~~ Any body out there?? Thanks for your time. See you later...

Edging

I've been finishing up some of my crocheted baby blankets with some edging... I feel they look better when finished with a complementary design in a co-ordinating color ~ I love color... to me it's what makes the world go around. I couldn't imagine a world without color- could you??

It is fitting that in a week or so I will begin to teach Stefani how to sew.
She asked me just before I came to visit my folks in AZ. I will keep you abreast of our progress ~ I am looking forward to this as my own daughter, Amanda shows no interest in learning this staple of life... She just gives me her clothes to mend as needed * What a life : )

At Heart ~

In reality we are all One of a Kind! What we envision, interpret, create, all speaks to who we are at heart. I find this to be true in all facets of our lives... Wether it is by design or happen chance. What I hope to share with you through this blog are my unique designs. I do not use patterns, for me they are just too fussy... I like to do what I call “Seat of the pants Design” a little of this and a little of that turn it around a couple of times and voila!! I love to crochet baby blankets~ my 75 yr old mom looks and says~ “eh, crochet just doesn’t do any thing for me any more”. What’s funny is she keeps at her chair a cotton blanket I crocheted for her several years ago and she covers her legs with it every night~ why? Because as she says “It’s perfect” she absolutely loves it That means everything to me~ While I am here visiting I will snap a picture and share it with you!
